Ceylin Alvarado Conquers HG Cross Heerderstrand

First victory of the 2026-2027 cyclocross season for Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado as she powered through the sand in the fifth and final lap of the HG Cross Heerderstrand in the Netherlands. A special race to win in home soil for the 28-year-old FENIX-Premier Tech rider, who is currently the Dutch national champion.

” This is a great boost for the rest of the season. Winning is never a given. I was a bit ill at the start of the season, but things are going very well now. I hope to keep improving week by week,” said Alvarado.

She powerfully attacked during the final lap to distance herself from Denise Betsema (De Ceuster Bouwkranen), with whom she had battled through the course. Alvarado crossed the finish line at 46:52 with a 10 second gap ahead of Bestema and Aniek van Alphen (777TV CX Team). Meanwhile, her teammate Puck Langenbarg finished 11th.

Marthe Truyen wins final stage of Eneco Tour

Perfect ending to the 2026 road season for FENIX-Premier with Martha Truyen winning stage 5 of Eneco Tour and Charlotte Kool finishing third. It was a thrilling photo finish that saw the 27-year-old Belgian rider conquering the second victory of her career after.

“We had Charlotte Kool for the sprint, so we controlled the race throughout by responding to attacks. We had to ensure it would come down to a sprint. But in the end, I found myself in the lead group, where I didn’t have to do any work. I was able to just coast along, which meant I didn’t have too much stress heading into the sprint. I was able to finish it off,” said Truyen after the race. “I certainly didn’t expect to win here today. I was already quite satisfied with my season, but this really rounds it off perfectly.”

With the victory at Eneco Tour, the team closes the 2026 road season with 11 wins and 70 top 10 results.
